Battlescar 04:52
Daylight The little bird sings, Watch out here comes the spring But come the snow The light will go. Sunrise I will walk with you Through the woods Feel the morning dew On our feet my love – my battlescar Oh oh oh oh oh…my battlescar. Memories You share with me Pass through us like a breeze And lift us up Like a buttercup. Sunset And the sky is red Like the night is being bled Into our minds - Tonight you’re mine Oh oh oh oh oh…my battlescar Oh oh oh oh oh…my battlescar.

This landscape’s a memory Of monks in a monastery, Praying for the world To be free. The green that lights the forest glade, Shimmers on the mystic lake And I know, And I know - You’re crossing the water to find me In the mists of some ancient song And I know we could live here forever, I could stay here and build us a home. The buzzing of the dragon-flies, Ballerina butterflies, Dancing in the morning light Of your soul, As the green that lights the forest glade, Shimmers on the mystic lake And I know, And I know - You’re crossing the water to find me In the mists of some ancient song And I know we could live here forever, I could stay here and build us a home… On the mystic lake The mystic lake On the mystic lake The mystic lake…

Brothers we struggle, Economies shamed, But nobody knows who to blame. Our history’s been written on the back of a war and nobody knows what it’s for: Just as love can bring us through, We know that love can also break you, We spent too much time with nowhere to go - Now we have joy in our souls! We woke up this morning as dawn turned to day, The blackbirds were singing in change. Breakfast and song, All change starts at home - If this world will be re-arranged: Just as love can bring us through, We know that love can also break you, We spent too much time with nowhere to go - Now we have joy in our souls! In the clear mountain light In the clear mountain light In the clear mountain light, In the snow.

It all begins with friends Friendship’s the fuel that never will end. We lay in the shade of a willow tree In the heat of the afternoon sun, We lay side by side as the river passed by Silently watching the sky; We don’t need tomorrow We don’t need tomorrow We don’t need tomorrow Until the day is done. We met at the source of the river And followed its course to the sea, With one eye on the mountains And one on the valley beneath. We don’t need tomorrow We don’t need tomorrow We don’t need tomorrow Until the day is done. We don’t need tomorrow We don’t need tomorrow We don’t need tomorrow Until the day is done.

The Fever 04:59
There’s nothing I know, I just overflow And sing But sometimes the sound of joy Feels like everything. So open your heart I’m coming inside I’m gonna break down these walls There’s nowhere for you to hide Midnight And my mind is beginning to sing My hearts running dry I’m giving you everything Well I’ve got the fever The fever is burning in me The fever is burning in me Well I’ve got the fever Burning In me. You’ve been too long singing that song Of loneliness and loss So take your place In the light of the moon And call…. We’ll harness the wind with a face to the rain Pray to the stars and the forces of change Watch the world come alive It lights you inside and out… Midnight And my mind is beginning to sing My hearts running dry I’m giving you everything Well I’ve got the fever The fever is burning in me The fever is burning in me Well I’ve got the fever Burning…In me Oh Lord don’t you leave me now, I’m feeling so free...

When the people have burned down the castles And the palaces have all gone to ruin And we’re caught in between all the princes and thieves With a bow and a broken arrow When the gardens have given up roses And the summer abandons her breeze We’re caught on a wave, don’t know where to go I’ll sing you a song of the sea: Oh, wide ocean bright Oh, great starlit night Oh great seabird in flight… Oh, wide ocean bright Oh, great starlit night Oh great seabird in flight… Won’t you lead me… Won’t you lead me… Into the arms Of a world That loves me.

Running Home 03:16
Playing tappy on the chip-shop wall Climbing the monkey tree in the park Walking the pipe to the waterfall Running home when it gets dark Collecting wood on bonfire night Riding a horse on a terraced row Rabbit hunts on the railway line Running home when it gets dark Running home, running home…. Running home, running home….

I felt like a poet Beneath the full moon, In the eyes of Diana We’ve been renewed: We’ve harnessed a force that burns It’s burning as bright and big as the sun A myth of wild horses…spinning wheels Your love is strong……….and I like how it feels. I like how it feels I like how it feels I like how it feels The soul is a witness To all we’ve been through And my heart is a chamber The Lord made for you: We metamorphise in Spring, The mysterious growth of a butterfly’s wings; I’m the egg in the nest the magpie won’t steal. Your love is strong Your love is strong Your love is strong……….and I like how it feels. I like how it feels I like how it feels I like how it feels

Sometimes we forget that the energy of the Universe Is flowing through us all. We all need to spend a bit of time in the wilderness But there’s no point in going there if you stop trying to do your best. And what did we find when we followed that dream, In an attic flat on the Manchester scene? And what did we find at the top of the stairs - There’s a dream that we lost we forgot it was there. And what did we find in the clubs and the bars Besides spinning dervishes dancing like stars? And what did we find my beautiful girl When we gave it all up for the sun? Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, My beautiful one Hmm, Hmm, My beautiful one Hmm, Hmm, Hmm, My beautiful one Hmm, Hmm, Wilderness gone… Our hearts came alive to a mystical tune Where dreams can be read in the light of the moon But all that we found was the sound of ourselves Getting lost in the perfect song: Wilderness Gone. Crazy to give up and crazy to try Together we’ll sing as we reach for the sky I’m crazy to give up and crazy to try Together we’ll sing as we reach for the sky I’m crazy I’m crazy Lord won’t you show me... Oh Lord won’t you show me...the way. Life is made of tests and trials. Even when it feels like you’ve lost it all, Don’t turn your back on your dreams.

There’s a little girl Who makes the stars shine; In the face of the moon She’s the source of the light. She can see herself breathe When the night gets cold Adrift on the breeze Like a falling flake of snow. She dreams she is dancing She dreams she is dancing She dreams she’s slowly making my world Come to life. There’s a little girl Who makes the stars shine, Alone in her room Away beyond time. In her dreams she is free She can see herself fly Like a bird on the breeze In the deep starlit sky: She dreams she’s dancing She dreams she’s dancing She dreams she’s slowly making my world Come to life. There’s a little girl There’s a little girl There’s a little girl Who makes the stars shine Oh, there’s a little girl Oh, there’s a little girl Oh, there’s a little girl Who makes the stars shine.
